Nourish Network teamed up with Plum District, the daily deal site by moms for moms, to offer you a sweet deal on My Nourish Mentor. If you bought the deal through Plum District you’ll get our 12-week My Nourish Mentor program–an $89 value–for $45.
Welcome Plum District Moms! If you’d like to have more energy, less guilt, and feel great about what you’re feeding yourself and your family (and yes, it’s true, most participants lose weight too), then I’ve got just the thing for you. I developed my 12-week My Nourish Mentor program to shift the way you think about food–and the choices you make–without feelings of deprivation or “my kids will never eat this!” Each week, you’ll receive a simple (and fun!) curriculum with easy readings, videos, challenges and recipes that, little by little, transform the way you and your family eats.
I distilled the learnings of my own four year journey into this 12-week program, and have been blessed by the inspiring stories of change from those who have gone through it. If you’d like to change–for good–yourself … now’s the time!

What is My Nourish Mentor?
The short answer is, My Nourish Mentor is a 12-week online program that will change your life. But there’s more to it than that …
When you sign up for My Nourish Mentor it’s like having me in your kitchen a few times a week. I’ll tell you all the great things leafy greens do for your body. Then I’ll show you how to zip the leaves off a bunch of kale in under 60 seconds (trust me, you can do it … my 5 year old daughter Noe is a whiz at this) and help you whip up Braised Kale Tartines with Feta in 20 minutes that will have your family swooning (if I had a nickel for all the moms who swore that dish worked miracles!).
Let’s talk food for a second.
This is not a dry nutrition course. Nor is it a boring diet (don’t beat yourself up … there’s good reason none of them have ever stuck). This is a fun, enlightening, entirely doable way to change the way you eat … forever.
I challenge you to browse through the “diet and nutrition” books the next time you’re at the bookstore. Notice how many of them have men in white lab coats on their covers. For some unfathomable reason, our society has teased apart food—scrumptious, eyebrow-raising, moaning-so-people-stare food—from health. If food is healthy, it should be s-e-r-i-o-u-s and something that a man in a white lab coat would serve you (preferably not in his office). If it’s goooood, well, then it’s probably bad for us.
Well I’m here to tell you it just ain’t so.
I have been paid a lot of money for many years by magazines like Cooking Light, Health, Prevention and Fitness to come up with recipes for their magazines. Thousands (maybe even millions) of people have cooked my recipes. Why? Because I hold fast to the belief that healthy food can be downright finger lickin’ good.
Is your mouth watering yet? Here’s my secret …
I’ve discovered that to be truly nourished, where you feel comfortable in your body, at peace with what you eat and good about serving it to those you love, you need to know:
- what foods are inherently nutritious
- how to cook those foods so that you enjoy eating them even more than what you ate before
- what foods are safe to eat and easy on the environment
- where to spend your money—and where you can save
- how to quiet your mind to truly enjoy the process of cooking and the experience of eating
- when enough is enough
- how to get rid of the guilt when you choose to indulge
And the entire process—not just the end result—needs to be so fun and enjoyable that you’ll want to keep doing what you’re doing. Which is exactly what My Nourish Mentor does.
Here’s a snapshot of how My Nourish Mentor looks
As soon as you sign up for My Nourish Mentor …
I’ll send you a Five Step Quick-Start Checklist so you get the most you possibly can out of the program and start fundamental shifts in motion from day one. I’ll walk you through an initial evaluation to get you thinking about how you relate to food, and to give you a benchmark to measure your growth against.
Then each week …
I’ll send you an e-mail letting you know that your material is ready. You’ll click on the link and see your curriculum, which will be a mix of fun videos (yes, I do take you into my pantry), short readings, thought-provoking exercises, tasty recipes and more all laid out for you in your Weekly Lesson Plan. At the end of each week, you’ll log one learning on your “My Progress” chart to adopt and practice the following week.
Throughout the week …
You’ll have access to me and your fellow My Nourish Mentorites in the Member Forum any time you like. Ask questions, share what you’re learning, offer support to others and get encouragement from those walking in your shoes.
What can you expect to get out of My Nourish Mentor?
Let’s fast-forward 12 weeks. Picture yourself at the table with your family. Only instead of angst and moaning and tension, there’s peace. You know that what’s on their plates is nourishing them, and that, in turn, nurtures you (and, yes, you feel a twinge of pride that they’re asking for seconds of your Honey-Ginger Roasted Carrots). You feel settled, calm and peaceful in your body and a deep sense of gratitude for what’s on and who’s around the table.
Sound impossible? It’s not.
Mind you, this scenario doesn’t happen overnight; it happens over time. With a few minutes here and a few minutes there, the way My Nourish Mentor was designed to be “ingested,” you’ll gradually shed old assumptions and habits and adopt new, nourishing ones.
And when that happens, anything is possible.
Suddenly, you’ll realize that you don’t even want to eat the way you’ve always eaten. You’ll feel confident browsing the aisles of a grocery store or farmers market. You’ll have more time and be more relaxed, and will enjoy being in the kitchen. You’ll feel more peaceful and at home in your own skin. And you’ll feel good and proud about what you’re feeding yourself and your family.
Welcome to My Nourish Mentor!
