Nourish Network’s Editorial Philosophy

We believe Nourish Network members and viewers are intelligent, curious people looking to learn how to eat in a way that nourishes themselves, others and the earth we share. Our unique recipe for serving you includes:

  • Empowerment rather than dogmatism. Nourish Network serves bite-sized bits of information so you can consciously piece together an individual approach based on your own values, budget, time constraints and other realities of life.
  • High-caliber editorial content. The content on Nourish Network is generated by a team of experienced professionals–both writers and recipe developers–for a consistently high level of editorial and recipe content.
  • Content-driven Conversation. Where most social media sites are the equivalent of a cocktail party–mostly small-talk and catching up on what everyone is up to–Nourish Network strives for content that whets your appetite for deeper conversation in the Member Area.

Note: We do get review copies and products in the mail quite often, but that it in no way affects whether or not we cover a subject. My philosophy with books or any other product that shows up on my doorstep is this: if it ends up being heavily used on my own shelves and I enjoy it so much I get excited about telling people, I’ll most likely write about it at some point. If it’s something that I have no use for, I won’t put words to it.
