I just ran into an old-timer when buying them (it&#039;s a great year for them!) and he told me that he grew up in San Francisco and they used to have platters and platters of crab for both Christmas and New Years Eve. &quot;It&#039;s not Christmas without cracked crab,&quot; he said earnestly. I love that!]]></description>
